Frequently Asked Questions

The best time to visit Bali is during the dry season from April to October when rainfall is minimal and temperatures are pleasant (27-31°C). July-August is peak season with more crowds. November-March is rainy season but with fewer tourists and lower prices.

Bali is generally very safe for Indian tourists. The Balinese are friendly and welcoming to visitors. However, take normal precautions against petty theft, especially in crowded areas. Avoid drinking tap water and be cautious with street food if you have a sensitive stomach.

The currency used in Bali is the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). As of current rates, 1 INR ≈ 190 IDR. ATMs are widely available, and major credit cards are accepted in hotels and restaurants. It's recommended to carry some cash for small shops and local markets.

Bali is casual but modest. At beaches, swimwear is fine but cover up when leaving beach areas. For temple visits, wear clothes covering shoulders and knees (sarongs are often provided). Light, breathable fabrics are best due to the tropical climate.
